PersonalitiesFrom WikiFreekick[edit] Personalities
All players have personality traits that describe their character on and off the pitch. Personalities never modify separate skills, but rather how players react when faced with different situations. Personalities come in pairs that are each other's counterparts. Each player has two or three personality traits. [edit] Charming & ObnoxiousA charming player can talk himself out of trouble with the referee, while an obnoxious player can talk himself into trouble. Both these traits are relevant for a Team Captain and for the general behavior outside the pitch. [edit] Cautious & RecklessCautious players tend to stretch the rules in lesser degree to avoid fouling, while reckless players pay less regard to whether they will be stopped by the referee. A cautious player is also somewhat less likely to get injured. Both traits can influence how the player acts in situations outside the pitch. [edit] Extrovert & ReservedAn extrovert manner will accentuate other personality traits, good or bad, that the player has, while a reserved manner will do the opposite. A reserved player will be less effective as a Team Captain, while an extrovert one will influence his squad in a clear manner. [edit] Loyal & TurncoatThese traits influence how likely the player is to force a wage raise based on their performance. Other events outside the pitch where the loyalty of a player is required will also be relevant here. [edit] Confident & NervousYou want your penalty taker to be confident and absolutely not nervous. The latter is not necessarily a worse player in general, but in tight situations he will risk messing up. Nervous defenders are more prone to losing the ball to the opponent for instance. To be confident can be an advantage in situations outside the pitch, but also as a Team Captain. [edit] Team Player & EgoistThe player who puts his team first will contribute more (5%) in the assistance to his team mates, and the Egoist will contribute less (5%). The latter is more likely to get the ball and the team player is more likely to stay in the background. Certain player choices can come in conflict with these traits. An Egoist might, for instance, be less likely to look for an opening pass when in a scoring position. [edit] Responsible & DivaThe responsible player gets going when behind and work extra hard (+3 in all skills) in order to get back into the match. A player with the Diva trait is charming when his side is ahead or drawing, but gets obnoxious and egoistic when behind. [edit] Content & AmbitiousA player with the ambitious trait is more likely to drop in loyalty if he doesn't get enough match-time, and more likely to go high in loyalty if you give him enough responsibility. The content player is more stable.
